Robo-Garden is an interactive, visual way to teach programming using Blockly and other coding languages. It uses simple, interactive software to teach students how to think critically and solve problems, two extremely important skills for 21st Century programming. It also helps enhance visual-spatial skills, and helps to translate code into visually appealing responses.
Using an innovative 3D model and Blockly combination, Robo-Garden teaches how to use different coding tools to achieve what they want to achieve.
With an easy to follow guideline, with quizzes at the end of each chapter, students will continually reinforce what they have learned over subsequent lessons.
Robo-Garden also allows students to experiment, giving them an environment which rewards exploration and curiosity. Students are encouraged to find different ways to solve problems, and most problems presented have many different available outcomes.
