April Darger - Education Liaison - Utah
(Tooele, West Jordan, Herriman, Riverton) April is committed to encouraging our youth to expand their knowledge base. She has volunteered her time teaching elementary students about migratory birds, water quality, and insects, as well as after school reading programs. With a bachelors in ecology, April understands the importance of helping students find their passion for STEM, and for encouraging boys and girls alike to pursue their interests and achieve their goals. Tyrone Howard - Education Liaison - Virginia
(Loudon, Fairfax, Prince William) With a bachelors in Healthcare Management and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, Tyrone has seen first hand, how robots have changed patient care and redefined the word "preventative" - from Direct patient care robots: surgical robots (used for performing clinical procedures) to Indirect patient care robots: pharmacy robots (streamlining automation, autonomous robots for inventory control reducing labor costs). As a Robots.Education Liaison, Tyrone brings robotics to elementary, middle and high school students in a fun and challenging way, knowing that this education will bring tangible benefits for students throughout their schooling and careers. |

Jason Roy - Education Liaison - Alberta & British Columbia
Jason has had a love affair with technology since dismantling the family’s Compaq Presario at a young age. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology and took up programming as a hobby. This love for technology inevitably led him to Robots.Education where he has been able to expand his skillset, teaching children about programming and robotics and encouraging them to explore all the possibilities afforded by these skills. He spends the rest of his days helping educators and institutions bring these exciting aspects into their own classrooms ensuring they have the confidence and knowledge to achieve success. He has Associate of Applied Science Degrees in Electronics Technology and Biomedical Equipment Technology. He also has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. He as seen firsthand the rise in robotic use in not only healthcare, but the beginning of use in everyday encounters.
